Members Present: Duane Brooks, Monica Ashton, Cindy Olson, Bruce Zalobsky, Terry Wright.

Members Absent: Dennis Long, Shawn Kraycs.

Others Present: Mike Ingalls, Doug Baum.

1. Supervisor called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m.

2. Correspondence (No action required): A. February Reports concerning Fire Dept. activity, Building Permits, Central Dispatch, Animal Control, Sheriff’s Dept. B. White paper on Michigan Medical Marijuana Act as requested by M.T.A.

3. Motion by Olson, second by Brooks, to approve minutes of February 16, 2011 as presented. Ayes, five; Nays, none; Absent, two. Motion carried.

4. Treasurer’s Report for February 2011 was distributed and placed on file.

5. Citizens Who Wish to Speak: Doug Baum, Grayling City Manager, distributed information regarding efforts by Grayling City/Township Fire Dept. to re-establish an equipment replacement fund. (See attachment “A”).

6. Discussion and Q&A regarding proposed 2011-12 General Fund Budgets.

7. Motion by Ashton, second by Olson, to schedule Public Hearing for the Grayling Charter Township Fiscal Year 2011-2012 General Fund, Township Improvement Fund and Liquor Fund Budgets for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday March 30, 2011, in the Conference Room of the Grayling Charter Township Hall. Public Hearing to be followed by a Special Meeting of the Board to consider adoption of the proposed budgets. Ayes, five; Nays, none; Absent, two. Motion carried.

8. Motion by Brooks, second by Zalobsky, to adopt as presented a Resolution of Moratorium (six months) on the establishment of businesses under the Michigan Medical Marijuana Laws. (See Attachment “B”) Ayes, five; Nays, none; Absent, two. Motion carried.

9. Public Hearing regarding proposed amendments to Grayling Charter Township Zoning Ordinance and Civil Enforcement Bureau is scheduled for Wednesday, April 20, 2011, beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the Conference Room of the Grayling Charter Township Hall.

10. Motion byBrooks, second by Zalobsky, to approve payment of claims on vouchers 9008, 9024 through 9053, Liquor inspections of $240.00 for a grand total of $116, 137.48. Ayes, five; Nays, none; Absent, two. Motion carried.
