GRAYLING CHARTER TOWNSHIP BOARD

REGULAR MEETING

JUNE 18, 2008

Members Present: Dennis Long, Cindy Olson, Monica Ashton, Terry Wright

Members Absent: Shawn Kraycs, two vacant positions

Others Present: David Sabin, Pauline Petroskey, Linda Munsey, Mike & Diane Branch, Mike Duffy, James Cox, Bob Dixon.

1. Supervisor called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m.

2. Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance

3. Correspondence: (No action required) Recycling report for May 2008

4. Approval of minutes and treasurer’s report extended to next regular meeting.

5. Citizens who wish to speak

A. David Sabin spoke regarding his candidacy for C.C. Prosecutor

B. Diane Branch spoke regarding the part-time ordinance enforcement position. Mr Sedgwick is doing a good job and the position should continue to be funded.

C. Linda Munsey, introduced herself as candidate for Township trustee.

6. Supervisor has received questions regarding identification of road ends at Lake Margrethe. Consensus of the Board that Supervisor should continue as directed in May: To proceed with the sign placement at public road-ends at Lake Margrethe. The placement to be documented with photos.

7. Motion by Long, second by Olson, to re-appoint Lynnette Corlew to the Crawford County Transportation Authority Board. Ayes, four; Nays, none; Absent, one and two vacant positions. Motion carried.

8. City of Grayling/ Cemetery Budget Review: Questioins regarding “Gov’t Transfers”? Place on July agenda.

9. Motion to approve claims on vouchers 6504 through 6537 in the amount of $44,102.86. Ayes, four; Nays, none; Absent, one and two vacant positions. Motion carried.

10. Motion to adjourn, carried. Ayes, four; Nays, none; Absent, one and two vacant positions.
