4-26-11 Planning Commission Regular Meeting

1. Roll call:
Present – Jansen, Cox, Roth and DiPonio
Absent – Long
Also Present – Wright

2. Motion by DiPonio support By Roth to approve minutes as amended. All ayes, one absent. Motion carried.

3. No citizens to speak.

4. Jansen discusses MMMA white paper with PC members.
Chair appoints:
1 – Contact Sheriff – Curt Jansen
2 – Contact City Manager – Carolyn DiPonio
3 – Contact Prosecutor – Jamie Cox
Chair asks - What are other townships doing? Wright will find out and report back.
Are there MM ordinances in place in Traverse City or Gaylord? Wright will find out and report back.
Chair appoints Guy Roth to monitor MTA website.

5. PC will maintain normal meeting schedule.
