Clerk
In November 2018 voters passed Proposal 18-3. The proposal brings about new voting opportunities. Changes include:
- The deadline to register to vote in any manner other than with the township clerk’s office (example: Secretary of State office) is 15 days before the election.
- Voters may register up through the election day in-person in the township clerk’s office with proof of residency. The township clerk’s office will be open the weekend before elections to register voters and issue absent voter ballots.
- All registered voters may vote from home. To request an absent voter ballot to vote from home you may use this application, or you may send a signed request in writing to the clerk’s office. Contact Clerk or Deputy Clerk for assistance.
If you would like further information you can visit Michigan Voter Information Center Michigan.gov/Vote or contact Deputy Clerk or Clerk at 989-348-4361.
